God is a peace-making God. The whole history of redemption, ending in the death and resurrection of Jesus, is God’s strategy to bring about a just and lasting PEACE between man and himself, and then between man and his fellow man. Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, God provides both the MOTIVATION and the METHOD for peace-making.
